AE Studio Policies, Terms & Conditions of Studio Bookings
AE Studio houses many beauty treatments & due to the nature of our treatments we are not a child friendly studio. We request that you attend appointments alone or with no more than one guest if this guest is of service to you.
previous brow tattooing
At AE Studio, we take the safety and satisfaction of our clients very seriously. As such, if you have had previous brow tattooing, you must book a consultation with one of our artists before booking a service. This is to ensure that the condition of your previous tattoo is assessed, and the artist can determine whether it is safe to proceed with the new tattoo.
We ask that you be transparent about any previous tattooing to ensure the best possible outcome for your new tattoo. Our goal is to provide you with a safe and satisfactory experience and to create beautiful, natural-looking brows that you will love.
If you do not book a consult or discuss with your artist that you have previous tattooing before your appointment, they reserve the right to decline tattooing your brows. In such a case, your deposit will be lost and placed towards paying the studio & artists for their time.
DEPosits, reschedules & cancellations
Your deposit is non-refundable if cancelled and will be put towards administrative fees.
If you wish to reschedule with over 48 hours notice, the deposit is transferable to a new appointment.
failure to ATTEND your touch up appointment, unless you RECEIVE PRIOR CONFIRMATION FROM YOUR ARTIST PRIOR TO BOOKING, will result in the full treatment price to be paid outside of the 4-12 weeks
If you cancel within the 48 hour period before your appointment your deposit is forfeited, any less than 12 hours the full treatment will be charged to your account.
CANCELLATIONS OR RESCHEDULES ARE VOIDED UNLESS THEY ARE APPROVED BY the STUDIO/artist WITHIN WORKING HOURS VIA PHONE.
Please do not INSTAGRAM or EMAIL us as these ARE often missed & NOT A FORM OF DIRECT CONTACT.
NO SHOWS & late arrivals
No shows will be charged the full treatment amount. If you don’t reply to the confirmation message 12 hours prior to the appointment you will be counted as a no-show.
Our artists do not get paid by the hour & their time is very valuable. by giving our artists 48 hours notice when cancelling or rescheduling this allows them a chance to book another client.
Please arrive on time to the appointment, any arrivals 15 minutes or later will result in your appointment being forfeited and full payment will be charged.
emerging artist bookings
You understand that by booking with any of our emerging artists that You need to have realistic expectations and understand that the time allocated can not be shortened.
By booking a service with an emerging artist you agree that you have virgin brows (no previous tattoo).
EYEBROW AFTER CARE

Proper aftercare is a very important aspect of the long term success, effectiveness, health, and overall satisfaction of your new tattoo. It is very important to follow the instructions in order to achieve the best possible results from your permanent makeup procedure. Please trust the healing process, we know that the brows can look quiet dramatic and scabby while healing this is normal!
Immediately after the procedure the eyebrows will appear very dark, you will feel slight tingling, tenderness, skin sensitivity, redness and swelling for about 1-2 days post treatment THIS IS NORMAL.
Please apply A THIN LAYER OF the soothing gel cream to the tattoo MORNING & NIGHT for 10 days in a dabbing motion.
DO NOT WET YOUR BROWS OR USE ANY OTHER PRODUCTS BESIDES THE AFTER CREAM ON THE TATTOO AREA FOR 10 DAYS. This will prevent infection while keeping your new tattoo moist to prevent drying out and pigment drop out.
After 5-10 days of healing the tattoo will begin to shed and the colour will fade and settle in to its natural shade. In total, it should take approximately two (2) weeks for your new eyebrow tattoo to shed completely and appear natural. PLEASE TRUST THE PROCESS

NO hot steamy showers, NO PICKING , NO swimming , NO makeup on the brows , NO sweating from gym activities
IF YOU HAVE LOST SPOTS OF PIGMENT OR YOU ARE NOT FULLY SATISFIED WITH THE WORK COMPLETED WE WILL AMMEND ALL OF THIS IN YOUR 6 WEEK TOUCH UP.

LIP BLUSH AFTERCARE
Immediately after your lip blush you will experience some pain and swelling in the lips this is normal and should subside within 48 hours. You are more than welcome to take nurofen/panadol. Our liquid lips aftercare needs to be applied ON THE HOUR EVERY HOUR, for the next 7 DAYS. THIS CAN BE USED AS A GENERAL LIP BALM TO KEEP YOUR LIPS HYDRATED & NOURISHED ALL YEAR ROUND!
If you are finding your lips are drying overnight you can use a light coat of antiseptic bepanthen to sleep with it on. You need to drink PLENTY of water and NO hot tea/coffee or spicy hot food for the first 2 days or drink through a straw if you must.
Day 3 your lips will begin to shed and peel this is completely normal. DO NOT PICK at your lips continue with aftercare. After day 5-7 your lips should be healed but will continue to change colour slightly over the following fortnight.
If you are prone to cold sores you need to continue your tablets on day 2 of healing to prevent any cold sore virus.
