My sister INSPIRED ME TO BECOME A PMU ARTIST. I was stuck in a corporate job for 8 years before starting at AE. Bonny and Talleigha hassled me to train with them so I could work at the Mandurah studio before it opened. even though I was SO nervous I gave in and have never looked back! You'll never catch me working in an office again, like ever!
I completed the lip and brow courses with Talleigha, it taught me everything I needed to know to get started. I would say that a majority of what I've learnt has been on the job though. Being surrounded by so many people that have been in the industry for a while you pick up tips and tricks from everyone and obviously doing it day in day out you teach yourself new ways of your own!
I'm a perfectionist through and through. It doesn't matter if I'm doing your brows for the first time or the 100th time, I'll always take my time to make sure they are PERFECT. In terms of styles, i feel like my combo brows are pretty recognisable. I love a snatched, lifted and defined brow with fluffy fronts. All about crisp lines that heal seamlessly 🙌🏼 and bratz doll shaped lips. Duh!
Anything brows is my forte. Whether it's a tattoo or a brow lami. I even get excited for simple wax & tint 😂
I BELIEVE WHAT MAKES ME STAND OUT FROM OTHER ARTISTS IS My attention to detail. I'm more than happy to spend half the appointment time mapping if it means the results are going to be perfect
I'm not the most professional speaker tbh unless I absolutely have to. I'd rather make people feel comfortable first and talk business later. If I can sense you're nervous I'll do everything to ease that whether it's over explaining the process or making weird jokes to break the ice/test the waters HAHA. I feel like I'm always laughing and catching up with my clients like they're a best friend. Tell me all the drama that's happening in your life or how you hate the government. I'll talk about anything. When it comes down to tattooing though, I'm in focus mode and all I'm thinking about is your brows/lips 🤷🏻♀️
WHEN IM NOT AT WORK I ENJOY Either listening to loud music and getting rowdy with friends or playing housewife, watching Ru Pauls drag race and cuddling my dog Bambi. One extreme to the other always.
